Happy Birthday!
It's our 3rd birthday this weekend! Since our humble beginnings back in 2015 we have successfully completed hundreds of flight operations for numerous clients across the UK. Canal Boat Crossing Pontcysyllte Aqueduct
A different view of a canal boat crossing the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct near Llangollen. the aqueduct reaches a height of 126ft at the centre and is 1,007ft long. Meet the inhabitants of Anglesey from over a 1000 years ago!
We were asked by Alun Griffiths Contractors to document the excavation of the archaeological site. At least 48 graves have now been discovered, some containing the remains of more than one person and it is thought that these date back to early medieval times, 1,500 years ago. Brython Archaeology, working on behalf of Griffiths, hope that DNA techniques will be used to discover whether those buried are related to current Llangefni residents. #Archaeology #History #Bones #drone

Work Begins On New Eco Park & Energy Centre in Holyhead
Work got underway this week at the old Anglesey Aluminium site in Holyhead in preparation for the new Bio Mass energy generator being built by Orthios. OffTheGround have been asked to track the demolition of the site, planned to take around 9 months. No decision has been made about the stack yet. Fly around Harlech Castle
A short edit from some of the footage from the beautiful Harlech castle. It becomes even more obvious why they chose to build it in this location when you remember that the sea would have come all the way to the base of the cliff in those days. The sea has retreated but the castle remains.
